Our Founder

Meet Ian Price

Our founder, Ian Price, discovered his passion for building at an early age. His youthful enthusiasm led to the construction of multiple treehouses, some of which still proudly grace their Southern Vermont property, standing as a testament to his enduring love for craftsmanship even after 35 years.

Ian's career began as a professional snowboarder, competing on the global stage of the World Cup circuit. Here, he recognized the pivotal role of effective communication in achieving success, a lesson that would go on to define Forest St. Builders' approach.

Ian later relocated from Oregon to Denver in search of a character-filled home, and it was there that Forest St. Builders was born. He restored his charming brick bungalow nestled on Forest St. to its former glory and, in doing so, uncovered the rich history of both the home and the surrounding neighborhood. This discovery solidified his commitment to building homes within the area's vibrant communities.

Since then, Forest St. Builders has gained a reputation of excellence in constructing complex and awe-inspiring homes in Denver that last generations.

During your initial consultation, we'll walk through the full process, from the intricacies of the design stage to the well-defined construction timeline. We take time to understand the vision for your unique home and provide recommendations to ensure the project is a success. Your confidence in the process is our priority.
Your home will go through several design iterations before it’s finalized. You’ll likely change your mind during the process, and that’s okay. We work with you to create a custom design that meets your needs and includes everything a home should have. You have the freedom to pick your cabinets, floors, and other finishes, or we’re happy to connect you with an expert to help guide those important decisions.
People often feel apprehensive about building a custom home or undergoing renovations due to budget concerns. We understand that it's a significant investment, and ensuring your dream house remains within reach is our priority. That's why we provide a detailed specification and allowance sheet for your project. This document outlines estimates for your home so that you have clear visibility into the costs. This also serves as a valuable tool to guide your decisions throughout the construction process.
As construction begins on your home, we provide daily updates on the progress, including photos and status reports. We promptly address any necessary changes and are available to answer all your questions that arise along the way.

Step 5: Project Close Out

Our aim is your complete satisfaction, and we want you to feel genuinely enthusiastic about residing in your new home. Once your home is complete, we will meticulously review all final details with you, including warranty information, ensuring all your questions and concerns are fully answered and resolved.
